I am there to aid all of my seniors and their loved ones in every step of this process so they are never left feeling unprepared or overwhelmed. If you’re looking for the photographer who meets you in a parking lot, throws your images in a gallery and never sees you again — that’s not me.

Every single one of my seniors gets a customized consultation to begin the planning of their session, we go over all the details. Every senior gets a welcome packet that includes the 60 page What to Wear Guide and all the visual aids they need to further prepare for our time together. At the session, we plan each outfit together to suit not only each senior’s personality but the location so that they are the stand out. After the session, we sit together at the studio and decide what works best for the family’s budget and for their wants and needs. We are together through every. single. step.

Because these images are unique to each one of my clients, every idea is so important to me. Senior portraits are something I put my whole heart into. I aim to make every senior that walks into my studio feel like they matter. Like they are my number one priority that day and for all our days together. I only take one session per day, so no one is ever rushed along so the next person can come through the door. I focus on a low volume, high quality experience that aims to make every senior I photograph feel confident in not only me but also themselves.

I am constantly searching for new locations, while still being able to utilize current ones without overuse and the same poses. I aim to further my education every single year to keep up with the most modern trends, flattering poses and up-to-date techniques to make your portrait experience fresh and fun but still completely timeless.

What’s my main goal? To provide you with the most amazing service and experience that I can with images that stand apart. I want your classmates to look at your senior images and think, they went to KSP.

Hiya. I’m Katie.

I’ve been a photographer for over a decade. It feels so weird to say that.

I’ll always have a love of working one on one so my specialty will firstly lie in seniors. But as my family grew, so did my love of photographing other people’s growing families. There’s a section for that at the bottom of this site. Keep on scrollin’ if you’re looking for family work.

I’m all about a good late night snack, messy buns, patterned pants, the occasional glass of sweet wine, dying my hair the craziest colors and feeding my Netflix addiction.

I’m that crazy, cool mom (not a regular mom, a cool mom) of three and a wife to a the best bearded dude. I devote every Sunday to them. And Chiefs football.

I believe in fun sessions that leave a lasting impression and being at “work” truly is one of my favorite things.

My philosophy has always been high quality, low volume which makes my client experience so important to me and how some clients just become more like old friends. I’d love to get to know you more and make sure that your experience through one of the biggest milestones is the absolute best that it can be.

 As my family has grown, I’ve found a renewed love of capturing family sessions in unique places that hone in on the beauty and essence that is unique to each family unit. Mixing posed portraits with playful moments is key to showing each family’s personality. And that includes all facets of family from the whole unit, maternity, children, extended and everything else in between.
