I'm sitting outside in a lawn chair on the most gorgeous Sunday afternoon. I'm writing this blog, about one of my favorite sessions and watching Jensen and Danny detail and wash the side by side. Life is beautiful today. A lot like the gorgeous Miss Chloe. When Chloe sat down in my studio and said she wanted the majority of her pictures in the winter, I hesitated. I've done winter sessions before but they are a lot like winning the lottery, the chances of it being great are slim. Because, well, it's winter. South Dakota could play nice or it could very well be -50 degrees with an even colder wind chill. But, she told me point blank, I don't like the heat...so winter it was.

I did convince Chloe to do a fall seasonal in the event that we had a not so great South Dakota winter. And low and behold, both days were beautiful. Her winter session, no surprise here, was cold but still a beautiful day pictures. We were able to venture down to the beach (haha, the beach in January) and all of the water along the cove was totally frozen into these tiny waves. Like they were not only frozen in temperature but frozen in time. Overall, Chloe's sessions were some of my absolute favorite from this year and I can't wait to share these favorites with you. Enjoy!
